Depending on your plan, CenturyLink offers internet plans that range from $45.00/mo to $85.00/mo.

CenturyLink gives customers a DSL connection that is delivered through your existing telephone line. All you have to do is connect a modem from your home phone to your computer so that signals are able to travel across the phone wire.

CenturyLink offers customers a wide range of speed, from 12 Mbps to 1 Gbps. Their regular plans support everything from casual browsing to sending emails. Their fiber optic plans are able to support up to 1 Gbps of speed. With those speeds, you are free to surf the internet and stream videos without lag time.

CenturyLink does have data caps for their plans. If you have a plan with less than 7 Mbps of download speed, they provide you with 300 GB of data. If you have a plan that is greater than 7 Mbps down, you have access to 600 GB of data. If you purchase their plan with 1 Gbps of speed, you are free to browse the internet without any restrictions. For any overages, CenturyLink will bill you an additional $10 for every 50 GBs over your plan. In order to save data, consider streaming videos in standard definition. According to CenturyLink, 6 hours of HD (High Definition) streaming daily takes up approximately 540 GB of data per month, but streaming the same amount in SD (Standard Definition) only takes up 126 GB per month. With CenturyLink's data caps, you should be able to maintain normal web browsing activities with some downloading and streaming.
